The sea port of Vysotsk is located on Vysotsky Island in the Gulf of Finland, 90 km from St. Petersburg and 50 km from the Russian-Finnish border. The port is reachable by rail and by highway. The total length of in-port railways is 8.3 km.
The area of the port is 34.02 hectares. The warehouse area is 22 hectares, including 15 hectares with reinforced concrete floors. Existing warehouses are designed for maximum simultaneous storage of 250 thousand tons of dry cargoes.
The length of berths used for handling vessels is 681 m; loading is performed from 4 berths.

To date, the terminal has a capacity of 5 million tons of bulk cargo per year.
Maximum draft of docking vessels is 11.9 meters, which allows for the handling of Panamax-size vessels (83,000 deadweight tons).
Gross loading rate per vessel is 10,000 tons of cargo per day on a fine day.
Port specialization – bulk cargo, mainly Russian steam coal from the Kuzbass, exported to North and West Europe.
