Consolidation as one of the value-adding services was implemented by INTERTRANS more than 7 year ago.
INTERTRANS is consolidating clients’ cargoes in China in close co-operation with our Chinese partners. We organise and manage whole range of services connected with consolidation.
We look at consolidation as one of the key features of a strong and economically effective supply chain, which allows to cut the costs on logistics and leads to better control and reduction of stocks.
As an example, Consolidation allows to combine goods from different manufacturers in one container for shipment from China to any place in the world instead of shipping each lot separately multiplying the costs of delivery.
Some other situartions when consolidation works:
Supplier sends small quantity of cargo not enough for shipment in one full container,
There are some cartons with goods remaining after loading of one full container,
We consolidate goods from different suppliers to minimise the costs of transportation at destination.
As a result our clients gain the reduction of costs, saved time, reductions of shipped volumes with the same profit margin.
Our clients obtain the discounts of full container shipments while ship by small lots.
We offer our warehouses in Shanghai, Guanzhou, Shenzhen and Xiamen. The location of chosen warehouses is not accidental. They cover basically the whole Chinese shoreline with all the main ports, at the same time they are equally remote from the factories and plants of our clients. In case of nessecity we are always ready to open new facilities in China or Europe.
All warehaouses are fully equiped, including lifting-equipment, wi-fi and internet acsess, scanners, etc. Personell is well trained and controlled by our representatives.
We will be glad to provide you with this service upon your request.
